The Importance of Family Education

Family education is important for children. The family is the first environment that will be encountered by children. Children will follow the behavior and habits of the family. The family becomes the biggest element of education for children. This is the right environment to provide real education.

Emotional intelligence becomes an important factor to express the ability of the individual. Emotional intelligence deals with the individual's ability to regulate emotions. It relates to social skills, empathy, motivation, self-control, and self-awareness skills.

Goleman says that individuals who have only academic intelligence will experience anxiety. Individuals will be away from social activities. Individuals are also too critical for any problem.

Another problem is that the individual finds it difficult to show anger and resentment in the right way. If this is supported by low emotional intelligence, then the individual will be a source of trouble for others.

Families should be able to guide children to channel emotions on positive activities. Families should teach that attitude is a bad thing. That is an important explanation of some of the things that should be taught in family education.
